A bright light straw yellow, golden beer stared at me, on top each time sat a huge foaming snow white head. As so often happens with pilsner/lager based beers,
Bright gold, bubbly head, looked great in a Bitburger half pint glass; grainy malt; quite a dry finish; clean, crisp, spicy
Gold with a medium, frothy white head. Aroma is grainy with biscuit malt, grassy hops and light lemon. Taste is toasted grains, buttered and slightly burnt biscuit, light lemon and grassy notes. Body is light-medium with a creamy, soft carbonation
Unique in taste. The secret lies in the water, which is still taken from the same well used well over 100 years ago. The water from our well is unusually pure and soft. That allows us to add a touch more hops to create the Friesian-bitter taste that distinguishes Jever Pilsner from any other beer.
Aroma malts, grass, hay and some hops. Palate is crispy, clear and light. Carbonation is fizzy and lively. Taste is malts and good amount of hops. Finish is light dry and hoppy with astringent tongue bitterness
Pours a yellow colour with a large white head. Aroma of strong grassy hops and some herbal notes. Flavour of grassy hops, stinging herbs, light citrus and some mellow honey-like sweetness. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Truly a "classic" German pils.
It’s hazy light golden with a creamy, lasting, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, hops and flower. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of flower, light citrus, straw, malt, light bread and the finish is dry and slightly bitter - really nice.
Very aromatic for a pilsener. Tons of the earthy pilsener malt aroma. Grassy lemon zest noble hop profile.
Aroma is hay, herbs and light hops. Appearance is pale golden with a small white head. Taste is light sour and light bitter. A balanced carbonation with a nice hopy finish.
